Iron Cage GT runs fun, well-organized tournaments for Warhammer 40,000. Standardized terrain, present judges, and results you can be proud of — or haunted by.
We run two kinds of events: two-day Major Grand Tournaments for the full five-round experience, and one-day RTTs for a fast, competitive Saturday. Each has its own page with full details and schedule.

View details & schedule →We run the current official matched-play tournament mission pack, with the latest published balance updates in effect as of the rules cutoff. Full details, scoring, and sportsmanship policy are in the player pack you'll receive after registering.
Missions are drawn from the current official Grand Tournament mission pack. Pairings are Swiss with win/loss record first and battle points as the tiebreaker.
2,000-point armies built to the current matched-play rules. Lists are submitted online by the deadline and checked before round one. Late lists may take a round-one point penalty.
Every table uses an identical, tournament-standard terrain layout. Chess clocks are encouraged but not needed. If your clock runs out, you can only remove models and pass turns.
We do not have a painting requirement, all players will recieve 10 paint points. There's a separate judged prize for the best-painted armies at Major events.
Your army, dice, measuring tools,chess clocks (if wanted) and current rules references (printed or charged devices). We supply terrain, and pairings.
Play hard, play clean. Judges are on the floor and rulings are final. Slow play, rules abuse, or hostility toward opponents gets one warning. There is no second warning.
Iron Cage GT is an independent tournament organizer based in North Texas. We started for a simple reason: competitive players deserve events where the terrain is fair, the schedule runs on time, the judges know the rules, and the standings are posted before you've finished packing your case.
Every event we run follows the same standard — identical table layouts, unbias Judges, player packs, and transparent scoring. No surprises except the ones your opponent brings.
